4 AHRC Graduate Studentships in philosophy King's College London

For postgraduate students in philosophy starting degree courses in autumn
2010, King’s College London has 10 Graduate Studentships available. These
include:

•       4 Doctoral  Awards under the Arts and Humanities Research Block Grant
Partnership Scheme in the subject area
of Philosophy.
•       4 Research Preparation Masters Awards under the Arts and Humanities
Research Block Grant Partnership Scheme in the subject area
of Philosophy.
•       1 Wellcome Trust PhD Studentship in the Philosophy of Medicine
•       1 Wellcome Trust PhD Studentship in the Philosophy and Psychiatry
The deadline for applications for each of these awards is February 1st 2010
– all application materials must be received by this date.
The Department of Philosophy is one of the largest and most distinguished in
the country. We have 22 permanent academic staff and 4 research fellows. We
would like to encourage prospective students that would like to visit the
department or arrange a meeting with a potential supervisor to contact the
