The 12th Annual Pitt-CMU Graduate Student Philosophy Conference
 
Explanations and Theories
in Philosophy and Science
 
to be held 19-20 March 2010

All submissions of high quality will be considered. This year we encourage papers
focused especially on the topics of Explanations and Theories in Philosophy and
Science.
This set of themes should be construed broadly and may among other things include
questions concerning contemporary and historical epistemology; general philosophy of
science; philosophical issues in specific sciences; philosophy of mathematics; realism,
antirealism, and theory change; and moral explanation.

All submissions must be prepared for blind review. The paper must
have no identifying information and must include at the top an
abstract of no more than 250 words.

Submitted papers must be no more than 4000 words in length. Submitted papers must be received as .doc or .pdf files no later than
20 November 2009
